Re: Suicidal Woman Lands on Teen at Mall

    Good Lord....

I know this sounds kinda funny, and I don't mean it to.... but why can't suicidal people be more safe in many cases.

You have the cases where the guy takes out his family while himself, or somebody dreams up a way to kill themselves in a public forum that could easily have collateral damage. Or the person who wants "death by cop" so they take out a few innocents with them so the cops have to kill them.

Thank God I can't relate to the need of having to kill oneself. Personally feel there's some mental instability present and that a person with all their facilites wouldn't do such a thing. Which makes it sad for the suicidal as well.

We just had one of those situations about 10-15 blocks from our house. A guy was drunk and despondent, and fired a gun in an alley. Cops were called, and he pointed the gun at them. They killed him and later they found a internet posting alluding to suicide. It's sad, but you're right, why endanger others?

This doesn't sound like it was planned beforehand.

Many times the suicidal person is trying to get the last word in. One last big show to get everyone's attention.

Not sure how this is funny...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Munoz, 17, was treated and released Wednesday night at Elmhurst Hospital Center, a hospital spokesman said. Police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Seriously, was the second sentence here necessary???

Considering the woman that landed on him died, yes, it probably was.

    I removed it.

What I meant was hospitals don't normally treat and release people with life threatening injuries.
