Tiller video interview on the Register

Pretty decent video about some of the changes he's gone thru.

Like to hear that Rhoads is having a more active role with the players that the other coach.

Sounds like PR makes it more of a point to get to know the players

He speaks much more highly of Rhoads than he ever did for Coach Chizik. Coach Chizik's departure is almost a blessing in disguise because I don't think we'd have Jerome Tiller now if Chizik was still here.

Agree with all of the comments. Its good to hear that coming from someone that still knows he's probably a backup but still has a lot of talent.

I got a kick out of this exchange:

Randy Peterson: “When Chizik left did any other teams contact you?”

Jerome Tiller: “That would be against NCAA rules.”

Randy Peterson: “I didn’t just fall off the apple truck.”

What was Tiller's response to that one?

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

After Randy Peterson made his comment about the apple truck he just kind of moved on to his next question.

Kids a stud. I'm glad we are solid at the QB position the next 4 years. AA for 2, JT for 2.

Hell I'd love to see them both in the backfield at some point. Lets put an option play or something in there, make it interesting. I'm just so tired of seeing shotgun draw run up the middle plays.

Agreed! Very impressd by how he carried himself and answered the questions. Typically young people have to be led on the questions, however, I thought he stayed in front of Pederson... I like that kid a lot!!! Love the self Confidence in football and with himself!
