    Training Parachute ?

Has anyone ever used a training parachute? If so did it make you faster and do you know what it took off your 40? What kind of workouts did you do?

I used to use them when I was tapering at the end of track season. I wasn't clocking 40s (I ran 400s and 800s), but I do feel like it was a good exercise and felt that it helped me get that other gear and accelerate faster.

    Re: Training Parachute ?

Never used a parachute, but I have been accused of pulling a U-haul trailer and once when I came back after breaking a leg, I was accused of pulling a plow.....

Best thing for my 40 time was having a big dog scare the heck out of me and i am sure nobody could touch that time with or without the stuff dribbling down my leg....

Really? Thanks for the update. I thought there was no way I'd need to include a sarcasm pirate with that post...I thought for sure there was nobody out there who wouldn't get it.....I was wrong.
