    Re: next years starters!!!!

Prins will start, we don't have anyone else that could play there.

It will be Lacey, Bolte, and Prins. I also believe that Arlen and/or Williams will start and Stuckey will come off the bench like always (she just not productive enough on offense). I'm not going to speculate on any other recruits because I've never seen them play. As I said, the only reason I have Prins in there is because we don't have anyone else.

I attached an Excel with our current roaster including incoming recruits.

I didn't say we were stuck with her. I said I was not going to predict any of the new comers but her because I've never seen any of them play. The only reason I'm predicting her is because we have no one else that can fill that position.

It would be like predicting that a in coming running back is going to be the starter because there is no other running back on the team. That running back may be the best in the nation or may be the worst the school has ever had, but if he is the only one, you know he will start. Same thing with Prins.

How about Williams, Stuckey, Aus, Bolte, Prins...i dont see Arlen in the starting 5...and I hope Williams or Yackley can step up and take over the PG so Aus can play elsewhere

Arlen was the leading scorer among the freshmen and she played fewer minutes than Williams. I think Williams has a better grasp of everything else, but Arlen is a better shooter. If Arlen can improve her defense and rebounding, she will likely start over Williams.

I just don't see Stuckey starting. She just doesn't have the ability on the offense side. She had less points this year than 3 of the 4 freshmen, yet she played more minutes than any of the freshmen. Defensively, she is good, but your starters have to be able to score, especially on a young team like this.

    Re: next years starters!!!!

I think everyone will be surprised by Zimmerman. Ive seen here play both in H.S. and at L. Wilson's summer camp. She is big (I don't mean Ht, or fat), she'll be the most physically ready player in this class. She is physical in the paint, and plays with a little mean strike. I think this class will push us over the top, and we'll probably make a Final Four appearance in the next 4 years!

I don't think comparing Williams and Arlen makes sense, because they are different position players. Arlen is a post, Williams a PG.

I think Arlen might be compete with Zimmerman for the starting spot, but it depends on who BF wants as a back up for Prins at the 5, which might be Zimmerman, with Poppens a back-up for Arlen. But Ashley's defense is not near the level Niz's was, so those are big shoes to fill.

I believe Arlen will start, she was one of the hardest workers coming off of the bench...I also thought she had some of the best post moves.

    Re: next years starters!!!!

I'm a little surprised by this item in today's Register. "At 6 a.m. Wednesday, Fennelly flew to Texas on a recruiting trip, hoping to find a junior-college guard." In hind sight, seeking immediate help at guard is consistent with the lineup in close games. Regardless of the early talk about depth, the reserves didn't get a lot of playing time.

This doesn't surprise me! I've post about this before, Lacey is an ok guard, but in close games turns over the ball to much and makes to many mistakes. Plus, losing EZ hurts as well.

Not surprised at all. Neither WW or AY appear close to being ready. Neither got meaningful minutes down the stretch, nor looked comfortable playing for BF.
