Question Secondary CF market for Season Tickets

I just made a reference to this in another thread, and wanted to get some feedback. I live in St. Louis and am likely to buy 2 season tickets so I can A) support the team, and B) ensure a good seat for the 2-3 games I will go to.

My question is, how good does everyone think the secondary market through CF will be next season? I ask because we could probably arrange fee-less transactions among Fanatics than going through Stub-hub or something like that. Anyone have thoughts?

I'm sure it'll depend on which games. I'm presuming you're planning on hitting Iowa, OU and Texas? All of those are sure to be a hot ticket.

I would think UNI would be good, maybe even a hot item. Was last year. K-State iffy. CU not very good. And those being later in the season will really depend on how the season is going.

Kent State is a hard one to call. Less than premier opponent, but Chizik's first game so alot of excitement and hoop-la surrounding.

I'd certainly go through a ticket exchange here before paying another site. I might have to miss OU or Texas or a wedding - not sure yet. I have a couple people to check with first - otherwise I'll have them up here for sale.

there's no way I make it to Iowa, Oklahoma, AND Texas. i'll be more likely to make it to 1 of them. Thus the other 2 will be up on CF for sale.

Jeremy, you should set up a page for sellers and buyers just so we can easily see interested parties next year.

I had a major problem giving tickets away for free last year, I expect the same amount of wins this year, so i doubt the casual fan will be willing to pay much for tickets. I would be hesitent on overpurchasing... that being said, support ISU and buy 10!

Re: Secondary CF market for Season Tickets

There is a seperate forum near the bottom of the list called ticket exchange, I am guessing that forum would work for this.

Re: Secondary CF market for Season Tickets

Just an idea - maybe Jeremy can make a special spot on this site to transfer info on the tickets. A person states the ticket/game/location and price/free and someone follows up from this website who would like to get those tickets.

Stubhub was just bought by ebay, but this site might be able to be a bewtter clearing house.
