    ISU Pro Day

Just talked to a friend of mine on the football team and it sounds like Jason Harris absolutely ripped it up at the pro days. My friend said he ran like a clocked 4.47 40 and had a super low agility score (which is a good thing).

Anyone else hear how any of the other guys did?

Jason Harris = Most underutilized player ever at ISU. He is the definition of a true Cyclone for sticking through it and not transferring after all the BS he got while here.

How ironic would it be if he got picked up and made a team in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised. It's just like us to let NFL talent ride the pine for 4yrs.

    Re: ISU Pro Day

From what I heard no one was even close to his numbers. He had by far the best numbers of anyone who did the Pro Day. How is it possible he couldn't find a spot on the field somewhere? Did Chiz just not like him? I guess Dan benched him too after some fumble issues......

A 4.47 gets you a good shot at the NFL. Wouldn't it be funny if he made it? Seems about our style

    Re: ISU Pro Day

I think Harris needed to play a lot more too.

There must have been a reason though, because every coach he had, decided not to play him.

That 60+ yard TD he had against SDSU I believe, was a thing of beauty and I don't think anyone else on the team could have done it. He made an unbelievable cut in the hole to break that one... and then he had the speed to take it the distance. ARob has the speed, but I'm not sure he would have made the cut?

A lot of great RBs have had issues holding on to the football, but that doesn't mean they should ride the pine forever. If you have that kind of speed and talent, you need to be on the field.

That honor belongs to Ryan Kock. Harris is pretty high on the list though.

Because he had one good game when his line blocked for him. His average was 2 yards until that game. If you needed 1 yard he would get you 2. If you needed 5 yards he would get you 2.

Kock was never given a chance to be more than a short yardage FB. He would have done great thing at RB, especially for the 2005 team. Hicks was good, but he was hurt all year. Kock should have been getting Coleman's carries at the very least.

He went from playing with his hand down 3 yards from the LOS to a 2 point stance 5-6 yards from the LOS with the ability to pick his track and read blocks. What he did was very impressive.
