    Re: Tirrell Speaks Out

It is sad that it takes something like this to make someone come their senses about their behavior. It is also sad that it appears Marty took two other people down with him before he came to his senses.

That being said, I hope they all land on their feet.

I cannot feel sorry for Marty. His ego was like a hot air balloon that just kept growing until it popped.

Spare me the crocodile tears, Marty.

You're the same man you were a week ago, and a year ago, and at the job you had before this one, just without a job now.

This is his 3rd credentials issue? Sounds like someone has a history of taking those and using them for his personal gain.

I don't feel sorry for him, you never treat another human like that. I even have too much respect for congressmen to act like that, well barely.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. If this was his firt screw up great you apologized and moved on. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Where was his apology after the last time he screwed up? No where because he did not suffer any consequences. Now he is sorry after losing his job/career. He truly may be sorry but, I do not feel sorry for him because this train wreck could be foreseen years ago.

It is a good article in the fact that it sheds a little more light on the situation. I hope it also brings closure to the situation and we can all move on. No need to kill the guy on this site anymore.

You are right about that... But call me a softie... anytime a grown man cry's I feel sorry for them... But then I think about what he did, and I don't feel sorry for him anymore.

No one is perfect. Some take more than others to realize this. Sometimes we need a huge life change to realize that maybe we aren't what we thought we were. Marty deserved what he got, but I hope he turns it around.

    Re: Tirrell Speaks Out

In this economy it's tough to take enjoyment when someone loses employment. This was not the case for me when Tirrell got canned.

Leave Iowa, Marty, and do us all a favor. No one is buying your sympathy cry.

No, this is what being a d-bag does to you.

There are plenty of alcoholics who have no problems fitting in in society. There are plenty of sober d-bags, and there are plenty of drunk d-bags that use alcohol as an excuse to be a d-bag.
