Will there be more or less season tickets sold next year than there was last year?

The prices have gone up, but many fans are more excited than they have been before for cyclone football. The new element of no single game tickets for Iowa is another factor. In addition how will the changes affect everyones personal ticket purchasing and donating?

Less. I think there's plenty of excitement and all. But the higher prices will drive some away as will the 4-8 campaign.

But I think it's very plausible that it'll only be a minor dip - say 29K+, and that overall attendance will exceed last year. Hell, I'll guarantee that later point.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

More, I haven't purchased season tickets for 4 years...but I'm in this year at $350....I know 4 other folks that are as well. It's all about hope. People buy on emotion.....as long as their wives let them.

Less, 28,500. I cannot see new people coming out in droves after this last season, and this coming season should be pretty rough. People will sit back and wait a few years before they pony up.

Less ,a 33% rise in ticket prices and a losing season doesn't make sense.

    Re: 30,728

It will be be slightly less. The price hike is crazy, let me say it again CRAZY. And besides that I have to pony up another $50 for parking now. Those things will drive some fans away. Others will come because of the excitement around Chizik. At the end of the day, I don't see this team winning more than 5 games.

That is a pretty grim look at things for next year. I honestly think there will be more sold. People are exicted about the future now, and it is not like it is that big of a hit to most people's wallets in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure there will be a decent amount of compalining for a little while as Cyclone fans have had it easy for years and years, but when push comes to shove most will continue with season tickets simply because they love the Clones.

More season tix will be sold this year, just look at the schedule and there are plenty of sqawk fans who will "pony up" the season tix money to see the squawks play isu.

At least at the Univ. of Iowa they actually won something before they started raping the fans! I realize we need to raise a lot of money for the program, but seriously. Jamie Pollard needs to realize that here in the real world, where we don't all earn $300K+ per year, we didn't get a 33% salary raise this year...
