Great Football Tix -- Should I buy?

My in-laws have a friend that is willing to sell their season tickets for ~$60/seat (2 seats) for the '09 season. The seats are on the West side, 40 yd line, 15 rows up.

Now I live an hour outside of Chicago so it takes about 5 hours to get back to Ames for the games.

I'm about 90% sure that I'm going to pull the trigger but after looking at the schedule, it's kind of a weak home schedule this year. Especially considering back to back games in November.

Talk me into it (with some selling points for my wife...)!!!

West side rules! I am on the 40 as well!

Buy them....I for one cannot wait to see us play Iowa/Army (how cool is that?) and the rest of the schedule.

What better excuse to see old friends. How often do you get an offer for such nice seats?

That price is worth the Iowa game alone. If you don't make the other games you will still get your money's worth. No brainer, DO IT.

Re: Great Football Tix -- Should I buy?

Yes, you could sell those Iowa games tickets for about $300-$400 alone. That would pay for a couple trips back to Ames for a few other games.

You should buy them. You can always put them on ebay for twice that. This is a deal of the century. Whoot!

Buy them. Sell the Iowa tickets on Ebay and make your money back! Then sell games you can't go to on here for cheap to the CF faithful!

Re: Great Football Tix -- Should I buy?

Buy buy buy! Tailgating in Ames alone is worth the money

I'm sure if you buy them, you can meet some fellow CF'ers and you might get a beer out of it.
