With Eik leaving, I would like to see ISU go after Marcus Jordan

as there should be room for him now, plus he will be with high school teammate Chris Colvin......

that could get an edge to ISU in his services

I believe we are all done recruiting for 2009, and focusing on the 2010 class. We are in on many kids for 2010, so I'm sure they are going to bank Eik's ship.

There's rumors about more JUCO's for 09. As far as Jordan goes, there is probably a reason he hasn't signed with anybody yet and it's not because he's underexposed.

Why are so many infatuated with Jordan? Can he play? Or are we going off brand-recognition?

i agree with saving it, we are going to need to find a lot of room for scholys for the 2010 season, especially if we want Ejim, and Barnes

Still, it's not like Mike is sitting near me in 216.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

So I could still get his autograph and it wouldn't look weird becaue I'm only 15 and thats what young adults do.

Re: With Eik leaving, I would like to see ISU go after Marcus Jordan

It's the same reason people wanted Jack Elway a couple years ago in football. People are under the impression that these famous dads are going to be in Ames all the time and open their check books. I doubt either would happen in the case of Marcus Jordan and in the end, we'd be left with a solid mid-major prospect.

I love his game, but he's simply not that good. If that's the best we can do, we need to bank it and save it for a high caliber player next year.

Any speculation as to what it could be? I was thinking maybe he'd try to walk on at a bigger school to save them a schollie

I just think it would be sweet like the time I met Carlos Boozer at the game when he was watching his brother play.
