The lowest 40 I've ever heard of was Joey Galloway's 4.19 at Ohio State.

...And I'm sure that was timed by his agent with an egg timer in his backyard.

Re: has there ever been a player

Its possible to get a GPA higher than 4.0. Sam Bradford had a 4.28. There have been some athletes to have sub 4.3 40 times. So I was wondering if there was someone that had a 4.2 40 time and a 4.2 GPA.

Re: has there ever been a player

Most schools do a 4.0 scale GPA so that would be pretty much impossible. The only way you could see that is if a school had a different GPA scale.

Re: has there ever been a player

Wouldnt you have to get straigth A+s to even come close? Not many colleges give A+s and if they do there would be profs that dont.

No, but there has been a player who's 40 time matched the number of classes they've failed in a semester...

Has there ever been a college player who could eat his body weight in pudding? That's just about as relevant as the original question.

I don't know but I'd pay money to see someone try. Especially Brent Big Play Curvey.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.
