    Webber to Pistons

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2731833
What effect will this have on Will? The article mentions possible trades Detroit is looking to make...none include Will. I also did not see in the article how the Pistons were planning on making room for Webber on the roster. If I'm not mistaking, Will has to be close to the bottom which would make him the odd man out. Or has he played well enough that won't be a problem.

    Re: Webber to Pistons

If they trade for Jaric like it's being rumored that would bump Will down on the depth chart. Webber doesn't play PG so that shouldn't affect his minutes much.

    Re: Webber to Pistons

i honestly dont think he will go to det... for some reason i dont think it will work out, mainly because i think he will relize he will get hardly any pt, i personly could see him at the lakers, but i could be wrong, and if he ends up in det, i do believ we will be seeing some trades.. and yes i think will would end up part of them..which honestly i wouldnt mind just because i really do not like Det..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: Webber to Pistons

I realize Webber doesn't play PG, but they have to drop someone from the roster when they add a guy from FA. What PF do they have to drop?

    Re: Webber to Pistons

Yeah, they already used Kelvin Cato as a throw away last year. I would think Will is in jeorpardy, since these moves appear to shore up the guard position in addition to Weber at PF..

    Re: Webber to Pistons

The real question is why anybody wants Webber? He was washed up his last year in Sac-town ... He is so slow and only looks for the elbow jumper every time down. He's so run down I have no idea why the pistons are looking at him - find somebody young to work in with Sheed and McDyess (sp?)

    Re: Webber to Pistons

Detriot's roster is only at 14 right now and you can have 15 (leaving 3 inactive for a game.) No one should get sent down or cut with the Webber signing.

Lindsey Hunter is hurt right now I think so Will's been seeing more time at the backup PG in the past few weeks. If they trade for Jaric a big guy will likely go to the T'Wolves but that would hurt Will's PT as he'll probably be inactive a lot more with Jaric backing up Billups.

    Re: Webber to Pistons

Once Hunter and Billups come back its probably all over for Will as far as playing goes. He didn't even play last Saturday vs Boston. Wouldn't surprise me if they shipped him to the D-league. Atleast that way he gets to play and improve rather than wearing a shirt and tie and sitting on the Piston bench.
