Anyone else sick of the Patriots?

I wish no ill will to Ellis Hobbs, but I really don't like the Patriots.

I like the Patriots ability to continue to reload. They won't pay the inflated salaries of average to slightly above average players.

Tom Brady doesn't have the arm of Peyton Manning or the flare of Michael Vick, the guy just wins football games.

jeez... what a pass! If they win this Brady will be 12-1 in the playoffs, and it sets up the made for tv matchup with the colties.

Too bad, you gotta love LdT - I wanted him to get a ring. Still could happen, but not looking good.

I will pull for the winner of this game for the Superbowl since the Vikings played for draft picks!

I know the average fan enjoys parity, but how can you not respect what the Patriots are able to consistently do?

    I didn't say that I don't respect them. I just don't like them.

I hated them too until Ellis got there, now I kinda root for them as a secondary favorite team since I've seen so many of their games.

The Patriots are like the teacher's pet in grade school. Yeah, they get good grades and do everything right but that doesn't mean you have to like them.

Re: Anyone else sick of the Patriots?

I love Ellis, and that's what makes it hard to still dislike the Patriots. Tom Brady is above average - he has a great team around him, but gets put up as a poster boy. I think one of my main reasons for disliking them was how everyone I knew started latching onto the Pats as their "favorite team" a few years ago when they started winning Super Bowls.

The Patriots are good, and they have a good coach who keeps them good. Whether Hobbs is there or not, I'll respect them for being consistent.

Question = Who was the Pats 1st ISU player?

I think I have the right person. The Pats tried to find a replacement starter but he kept playing himself back on the field for several years.

Re: Anyone else sick of the Patriots?

I don't love the Pats, but I'll definitly enjoy rooting against the Colts next week, thus by proxy, rooting for the Pats. I cannot stand the Colts.

There's a reason he's the poster boy, though. He keeps doing this with different running backs and receivers. There isn't another quarterback in the league I'd rather have.
