Re: 2009 Wonderlic Scores Are Out

I assume you posted this to take a shot at ISU because of the Darren Davis reference in the article. If that is the reason PLEASE GO AWAY NOW.

I kind of figured that Davis' name would come in that article!

Great. Darren Davis scored a 4. Troy Davis wasn't exactly a genius either.

The story said "rumored". No confirmation. It is off of Wikipedia which was probably posted by a Squawk anyway.

Re: 2009 Wonderlic Scores Are Out

I've taken the Wonderlic test. What's hard about it is that there are a LOT of questions that have to be answered in a very short amount of time. If you can't rapidly process information, you would not do well.

Re: 2009 Wonderlic Scores Are Out

I did not post that because of the comments about Mr. Davis. He was a rare, gifted running back with great heart and determination. My Wildcats would love to have two just like him for next fall. You should not be so thin skinned. It is rare for any human to be extremely gifted athletically and intellectually and have the motivation to use those gifts. Mr. Davis used his God given gifts to the utmost.

Re: 2009 Wonderlic Scores Are Out

I also took the Wonderlic test. It does place a premium on being able to think quickly and accurately. What it does not do is indicate whether a person can put their thoughts into actions quickly and accurately.

That's why QBs excel at it, I would guess. Who is better to make quick, well-thought out decisions?

Don't offensive linemen usually do the best on that thing?

Yeah, I think OL guys do about as well as QBs.

Don't know how to explain that I guess!

Lots of quick decisions on blitz pickups, defensive shifts, and such.
