    Iowa

For them to have wrestled as crappy as they did yesterday and still be in a position to win #22 is pretty impressive. Hopefully Metcalf gets it done and ISU hangs in at #3, putting the state back where it belongs at the top.

Honestly, I hope Metcalf loses and could care less about Iowa. I guarantee Hawk fans wouldn't be cheering for ISU to win it.

There now, does that make you feel better or superior to post this here?

    Re: Iowa

I'm really getting tired of all the Iowa talk on CF. I know, I know. Don't read it if you don't want to. I wouldn't mind it as much if it was cyclone fans talking about it, but more and more it is Iowa fans hoping on here and posting it.

    Re: Iowa

The only thing I'll say about eiu is Metcalf showed what a lousy sport he is and took away a lot of luster from the eiu team title. I'd guess his temper tantrum after he got his butt kicked is what most people will remember about these nationals.

    Re: Iowa

How about Ohio State coming out of nowhere to finish 2nd? Once Iowa runs out of having a double roster of Iowa recruits plus Virginia Tech recruits, they will lose their place at the top of the Big Ten.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.
