    Cyclonepride is in the doghouse

My wife was cleaning up the back yard this morning. I decided to go to the store to pick up some stuff for my garage projects, and after going out to tell her I was leaving, I unconsciously locked the door on the way back in, thus locking my wife out of the house for a little over an hour. She was not pleased

Just point out a couple of things in the yard she missed and tell her you will unlock the door when she finishes the job.

I did something very similar last summer - closed the garage door when driving out as she was outside. Fortunately she went to the neighbors and called my cell right away.

Must have been from all those marbles rolling around in that head of yours!

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. ~ George Carlin

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life:
The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers

Re: Cyclonepride is in the doghouse

My wife did that to me last year and I went right out and got a keypad for my garage door the next day. Now I can just type in the code and get in!

Locked myself out more than once...no more!

At Home Depot or Lowes (don't remember which one) I picked up a little MasterLock outdoor lock box with a combination for storing a spare key (I guess its pretty commonplace to lock yourself out), and installed it on the back outside wall of my house in a rather inconspicuous place. Saved me many a times...

We have the same thing - love it. It's also really handy when we need friends to come over and feed our pet/check the house when we're traveling.

Re: Cyclonepride is in the doghouse

I can beat that one!! One day just this winter..I was putting gas in our van with our daughter inside. While leaning in to check on her, I accidently locked all the doors. Needless to say...the wife wasnt pleased when I called her to tell her what I just did. Here is some info if this ever happens to you...Pop-A-Lock does free service when a child is involved!!
