What coaches impress you in the NCAA Tourney?

For me, I am impressed with Anthony Grant (VCU), Fran McCaffrey (Siena), Herb Sendek (Arizona St), and John Bielein (Michigan). I know talent is important but good coaching does make a difference.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

I forget the man's name at Western Kentucky, but he does a nice job.

I think his name is McDonald...and I think this is his first year there.

    Yup, Ken McDonald.

Western Kentucky has been kind of a cradle of coaches. Those guys and Tulsa.

There is no doubt that John Beilein is an amazing coach. Manny Harris and Sims are good, but Michigan has played way above where most thought they would.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

I figured Beilein could do it in a couple more years. They are a very dangerous team up there.

A great late season coach. When it really matters.

If Floyd had his team together all year, how much better would they look right now? I'm pretty sure they'd be better. I'm just curious how much better y'all think they'd be.

Tim Floyd, John Belien, Bo Ryan are three very good coaches. Also, I think Travis Ford is a very good coach for it being early in his career.

Coach who does not impress me at all is Bruce Pearl.

Pearl was more impressive a couple of years ago. It seems like he's slipping into the "roll the ball out there and watch them go" sort of coach.

I would second on Floyd. They are the only team in the tourney that I'm routing for.
If we gave him Johnny Orr type money, does anyone think he would come back?

Tim Floyd and Mike Anderson. I think Mizzou is a tough matchup for a lot of teams, and Floyd always gets the most out of what he has. I think if he had stayed at ISU, we would have won a NC by now, he is that good.
