    here comes kansas

so we are about 48 hours until the hated jayhawks come to town...whats everyones thoughts/predictions for this game. we are riding tons of momentum and Hilton will be rockin. I expect this game to be a lot like the Ohio St. game. we will stick around for awhile until Kansas's experience and depth will eat away at us

    Re: here comes kansas

KU definitely got into a groove last night, didn't they?! I was in school and enjoyed our 5 straight victories over KU earlier this decade, and a lot of that was JT and Fizer and HOrton and everyone feeding off our crowd...here's hoping we bring energy and when our boys get down a little, we don't just get quiet!
I agree with the "experience and depth will eat away at us" comment too, and say 70-59 KU final score...
I'm really just waiting to see what team shows up this game, and if we play with them the whole game, it will be a huge boost to the confidence levels! This is one of those games that, win or lose, can be a huge step in any direction!

    KU 75 ISU 61

I predict KU jumps out to an early 10pt or so lead and it ends up being one of those games where we occasionally get it down to 5 or 6 pts, but can't get over the hump and KU pushes it right back to 10-12 pts.

I'll be SHOCKED if we can pull this off, but that's why they play the game! One thing I know for sure is our team will leave it all on the floor W or L.

    Good Luck Clones!

Well let me be the 1st to predict victory then! Taylor will get hot early and finish with 24, Jiri and Wesley Johnson will each finish with a double double and Clark will have his best game of the year. ISU wins a close one 68-67 as KU misses the game winning shot.

I say there is no way that KU plays like that for 2 games in a row. They are ready for a letdown.

    Re: here comes kansas

It's almost impossible to play that well two straight games. They played out of their minds last night. I think this one will be a little lower scoring than some have predicted. If our D plays well and Mike plays under control in their press; it is definately a possibility for us to win this. My X-Factor in this game is: Rashaun...if he plays to his potential he can't be stopped. Also just think about all the press we will get if we pull this off. Our RPI would jump higher than Wesley's vertical!

I would love to see ISU play great and have a chance to win but I don’t see that happening. I would love to see a win just to shut up the arrogant, pompous KU fans down here in KC especially after last night big win.

Man, if that really does happen, can u just imagine how loud the Hilton would be during the kansas last possession.

I just had to smile and say "excellent" when I saw those final seconds of the KU/OSU game dwindle down. They are ripe for another upset.
