Sienna game and the Big XII

I had the Sienna game on in the background while I was working tonight and was kind of pulling for them cause I remember them playin a couple of Big XII teams. Got me thinking that a lot of the teams that were still playing today seem to have a disproportunate number of games against Big XII teams when compared with a lot of other BCS conferences. Is that just my bias showing in what I'm seeing and remembering, or what? I know it doesn't say a whole lot, but the collective big XII rpi should improve again today.

I just get tired of hearing about the Big LEast and Little 11, and I really think that even after losing 10 draft picks in the first two rounds last year, the big twelve is down, but that only puts them on equal footing to those two this year.

I guess with as rough as things have been lately I'm grasping at straws, but an observation just the same, and it gives me something keep the rest of the post season bearable.

I think the Big 10 is slightly better than the Big12....but the Big East is way better. Sure they have a lot of teams, but even a good portion of them are really good.

Can we either stop being immature by referring to the Big Ten and the Big East by "Little 11" and "Big Least " or come up with better insults? It really makes you look bitter and cranky and reflects bad on us as having ******** fans. At the very least, come up with something that's more creative and takes more than a millisecond to come up with.

good point.. I can only think of 7-10 teams from the big east that would have a shot at winning the big 12

WV, Georgetown, and Marquette would be a stretch.

    Really?

    UConn
    Lousiville
    Syracuse
    Notre Dame
    Georgetown
    Marquette
    Pitt
    Nova

Any of those teams could take the Big XII this year

If you say so. The RPI's say not very close. We'll just have to trust you.

Re: Sienna game and the Big XII

Uconn, Pitt and cuse, maybe lou, but even the cardinals got the big boys at home and would compete, but to say they would walk away with it, I just don't understand it.

check the rpi sos and the leagues aren't that different.

    top ten 2 to 3
    top 25 4 to 5
    top 50 6 to 8
over 100 3 to 5, with Seton Hall sneaking out last night by 1 spot.

Re: Sienna game and the Big XII

    Thats why you use RPI.

Losing to pitt is better than winning against Indiana, when you calculate RPI
