    Strange happenings in Husker football

Imagine this: a highly-touted high school football recruit says he is interested in ISU, and even moves to Ames and enrols in Ames High School. Then, at the last minute, he announces that he is signing with Tennessee. Something like that happened to Nebraska recently. Must be driving Husker fans crazy.

That whole situation is odd, from the start. He said weeks ago Nebraska isnt on his list.

I've heard that this kid has little chance of qualifying. He enrolled at Lincoln East in an attempt to complete 7 qualifying courses in 3 months just to give you an idea of how far behind he was. After listening to a 10 minute radio interview with him that consisted primarily of the phrase "you know what I'm sayin", I'm in the see you at a Juco camp.

Nebraska coaches haven't had any contact with him since October. Not even when he moved to Lincoln. They want nothing to do with this primadonna.

For the record, Bryce Brown has spent a significant amount of time in Nebraska too (his uncle lives in Omaha and is a former Husker). He isn't intersted in Nebraska either and Nebraska isn't interested in him.

    Both are odd situations.
