    Marquette Transfer

Does any one know anything about the kid from Marquette who transfered here. I don't even know his name. Was he a big time recruit? What position will he play? Did he play at Marquette or ride the pine? (I hope this doesn't turn into a player bashing session)

His name is Scott Christopherson and he is another shooting guard. I don't know much about how good he is though.

I have just noticed that a lot of people are excited about Gilstrap and Colvin but not much is said about this kid.

    Re: Marquette Transfer

The fact that he's here and is in his transfer season so he's not playing anywhere may cause the non excitment. People who don't see him or have stats can't really gush about him because there aren't any stats to back them up

Here is some High School Video. I like that he has some height and appears like he can put the ball on the floor. I have heard mixed reviews on him, so will hold out judgment.

My thinking is if he is a difference maker or if he is clearly better than Eik or Staiger we would have heard something from people that have seen practices or some information from the players would leak out about how good he is. So far we have not heard any glowing practice reports on him and we have never hear another player make a statement about his abilities. I'm not expecting much out of this kid until someone come out with some concrete info. on him.

    Re: Marquette Transfer

People said glowing things about AT -- you'd think he was the next coming of Michael Jordan. I wouldn't put any stock in rumors about players in practice.

Man, he didn't miss a shot! Just once, I'd like to see a highlight video that shows a guy dribbling off his foot, traveling real bad, getting called for fouls, losing the ball to the defender over and over, and so on.

Didn't SC tear up his knee or something a year ago? Any info on how that healed up? At one time I think word was it might have slowed him down some.
