Gilstrap's coach thinks he will a great one at ISU

I really hope his coach is right. If Craig stays we could be awsome next year. I love his quote on how Gilstrap can posterize people.

I wonder why his coach would say this?

Re: Gilstrap's coach thinks he will a great one at ISU

This team could be scary good next year if Gilstrap is in the top 10 players in the big 12 and brackins is back. Even the commentators during the Texas A&M game kept saying that this team is still very young and we got a tremendous basketball player coming in next year in Gilstrap.

Every HS coach says that about their players.

What do people think about him possible getting a sixth year. (no comments about him not getting it because we are Iowa State, or anything like that)

50/50 shot. I hope he excels next season at ISU and then gets another year! And Brackins stays for his senior season! And Harrison Barnes commits!

Re: Gilstrap's coach thinks he will a great one at ISU

Having two legitimate offensive threats in the post would be fantastic. That still doesn't necessarily solve our guard issues, though, of which I'm not going to place all that on Colvin.. just too much expectation for a freshman coming in. Hopefully we can see some solid improvement from our current guards so that, if in fact Colvin is ready to go, it's a bonus.

But, back on topic... I'm really hoping all I'm hearing about this guy pans out.. heck, even half of it would be plenty.

If he was a true freshman and as good as advertised he would be gone in 1 or 2 years anyway??

Have you ever been on an internet forum? Nit picking is the foundation of internet forums. And the reason we are all on here is because we don't have a life.
