    VEISHEA

Has anyone heard any rumors about VEISHEA this year? Last night I heard the band Trapt was coming, but I don't know how reliable it was. After last year when Big & Rich were supposed to come, I'll believe it when I see it.

    Anyone heard anything?

    Re: VEISHEA

According to the Iowa State Daily:

"The Veishea 2009 executive committee announced Tuesday that Trapt and Cartel are the headliners for this year’s entertainment.

Joining Cartel in Saturday’s Live @ Veishea lineup are country artist Jamey Johnson, alternative band Straylight Run, indie band Ludo and piano pop rock band The Morning Light. Bands Red and Halestorm will open for Trapt on Friday at the Battle of the Bands.

Events will require a ticket which will be exchanged for a wristband upon entry to the concert. The concerts will be held in the parking lots near the Molecular Biology building."
