Re: Something smells fishy in Lincoln

He met his current girlfriend on a recruiting visit to Nebraska?

    That seems coincidental.

"Also, he said Lincoln East offers more classes to help prepare him for college."

What classes can you take for less than a semester to better prepare for college?

This is where I thought it sounded odd. That and the fact I rarely move off the couch for a girl, let alone a couple states.

It is definitely a weird situation. He sent text messages to Jeremy Crabtree that he was moving to Lincoln to be closer to his girlfriend (freshman at Nebraska), then the article says he is doing it because of classes Lincoln East has to offer. Yeah right.

Nebraska stopped recruiting him months ago and they are not recruiting him now. From what I hear there is a slim chance he will qualify, and I don't see how moving to a new school 400 miles away from home with no adult supervision is going to help him in the grade department.

My guess is that in 4 years no one will remember this kids name.

He might not have any adult supervision at home- so moving closer to a university and away from home problems might actually help. I don't know anything about his home life, but that does happen more than it should.

I don't know anything about his home life. I don't think living close to a university means anything, but maybe living away from his hometown does help him. No matter how you look at this it is just a weird deal. I hope it works out for him.

Nice plug for Lincoln East. I'm surprised more kids aren't moving to Lincoln in order to ready themselves for College.

It's stories like these, that make me wish I was a TOP Notch Football Recruit. I wonder how many girls Pelini had lined up for him before he picked this one?

Something tells me we haven't heard the end of this Story.

In this case the young man can be offered anything and everything. His grades and test scores are rumored to need improvement. Check out how many D-1 offers he currently holds.

Until he pushes a pregnant girl down the stairs, I am not going to believe that she is his girlfriend.
