top 30 best names in college basketball

    http://collegehoopsnet.com/new/story...asketball23443

this is awesome, 1 iowa state player on the top 30..and u will never gues who..
    and 1 on honarable mention

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I watched a guy in the Mcdonald's all-american game when it was played in Ames that ended up going to Virginia by the name of Majestic Mapp. Turns out he had a little brother a few years later by the name of Scientific Mapp. True Story.

Here's the best basketball name of all time. He used to play for Arkansas. The kid's name was God Shamgod. You can't make that kind of name up.

Re: top 30 best names in college basketball

A name I came across in a business study a while back was "Itchi Anus". I think the person was from Turkey or thereabouts. I've seen some others comparable but that's my favorite so far.

    Atchison, Phineas

Anybody remember Phineas (pronounced like finest) Atchison for K-state a few years ago. I lot of people joked that he was the "finest" Atichson to play for K-state.

Remember Mamadou N'Diaye (pronounced MA-ma-doo En-JAI) from Auburn? That has been one of my all-time fav. names.

I went to high school with two girls, they were sisters. Not sure if their parents did this on purpose or not, but their names honestly were Gena and Talia.
