    Little Homer Drew can't coach

I am pretty sure they are my biggest let down team this year. They are loaded with talent. There talent makes a lot of teams look silly. Looks like Drew can recruit. He just can't coach. He should hook up with Wayne and sell satalite dishes to prisons.

I kept an eye on them when I saw their loaded recruiting classes but you are right, they are pretty bad for the talent that they have.

Careful now...I got blasted for pointing out how much Baylor is underachieving earlier this year...a lot of people would rather go to the NIT with an NCAA tournament team than just go 15-15 with a 15-15 talent team, and know that if a coach can bring in talent, it will achieve up to it's potential.

There are people on here that would think it was good coaching if a you could get the Los Angeles Lakers current roster to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

And weren't people saying how baylor has risen up so much after being in trouble with the NCAA...and we should have kept Morgan because Baylor has arisen from the probations....So much for that?

Drew has brought in great talent...no doubt about that...unfortunately as head coach, one of your jobs is to get the most out of your talent.

Re: Little Homer Drew can't coach

Of their seven conference losses, with Pomeroy rating:

    (8) MU
    (11) KU
    (17) OU x 2
    (25) UT
    (63) aTm
    (108) TTU

The Tech loss is the only bad one. aTm was on the road.

They're not as good as last year, but they aren't as bad as you guys are making them out to be.

The misnomer on that is Baylor cleaned house after the probation. Morgan would have put us on it. BIG difference.

Not Morgan hating. Just saying that the situations are completely different.

Three of those games were in Waco...gotta protect your homecourt if you have NCAA caliber talent...they also had the refs take a loss away from them in the last 5 seconds of their home game against Okie State, with one of the worst no-call charges I've ever seen, and then a phantom call sending the game to OT.

I know where you're coming from don't worry. I'm glad Morgan is gone.

not saying that you Clone_12 are the one saying this on other threads but this sort of thing upsets me.... people say on and on that our team does not have any talent and cannot run with the other Big 12 teams yet they are going on and on about how we can get all this good talent.....

PEOPLE, MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP WORRYING ABOUT OUR TALENT AND JUST LET OUR BOYS MAUTRE! I think that is out biggest problem

Exactly, I would much rather suck *** with Crappy players that no other D1 school would take, than to underachieve and only make the NCAA Tournament like once every other year with Players that Duke and North Carolina are going after.

But then, I enjoy ******** about how pathetic our MBB team is, sitting at only (2) Conference Wins.

I am not saying they are bad. When you have that much talent they should not have had those loses. That is what I am saying. We were not that bad Stinson and Blalocks Junior year. We should have no way had that many loses though.

Baylor has mature talent also. Not just a bunch of young guys with talent.
