    WHYYYYYYYYYY

Why does the other team seem to go on a run when SH is in the game? Why is he always open and feels the need to shot it, there is a reason you are open Sean. Why sub O for D and vis versa when your D still gives up points and you cannot score doing that? Just a few beefs I have with McD. Better days are ahead for ISU BB.

Why call timeout after an 8-2 run? Why do we dig a hole right out of the chute?

The shots were there earily just not falling. They did bounce back well from that though and that is a good sign.

Also, as long as we are ripping on some of our veteran players...there is no reason Alex Thompson should EVER come in for JVB with the way he has been playing lately...EVER.

I have been holding things in for the season and had to get it off my chest.

I don't know if youve watched JVB play defense, but it hasn't necessarily been great. Thompson came in at the end and drew a charge at a fairly important part of game, than subed back with JVB for offense. He definitivly should not come in for offensive reasons though.

Haluska's D on Collins was a big reason for us being in that game...the guy played over 20minutes and probably (without seeing the box score) took 3-4 shots, and for the most part we were better with him in the game...we just played Kansas tough at the Phog for 38 minutes despite having far less talent and people still question McDermott's x's and o's...it just amazes me.

Obviously GMac thinks they are doing some benefit so I'll take his opinion...

its next yr or bust for Mac. I'm going to cheer for this team (win or lose) for the remainder of this yr, and all of next yr. I just wish everyone else would do that too. Sure, we'll probably lose right now (no shock - why all the negative posts about it?).....but I think things will turn around. Just enjoy seeing your team out there and cheer!

    This.

WHYYYYYYYYY do fans continue to pick on one or two players when our MBB problems are far greater than just a couple guys?

This I can agree with. It's not Sean's fault he's being forced to play because we haven't been able to recruit better talent. And same goes for Petey and Thompson. Those guys are giving their all but there's just no one else who can contribute at this point.

Haluska is the best backcourt defender on the team and he's the only one who could keep Collins under control. He's a big part of why we were able to hang with KU until the end. But if it makes you feel good to anonomously rip him on this message board, I guess that's your right.

I don't think that was his point at all, actually.

Nothing like a good back handed comment
