    Football Season Ticket Renewals

Does anyone know when the 2009 football season ticket renewal forms are going to be sent out? I was trying to remember when I got mine last year, and I thought I had it by early February. Thanks.

don't know... if you hear anything, let me know. I'm interested also.... and to piggyback a question on to yours; Does anyone know what they do with the people who had season tickets for the seats that got taken over by the new renovations at Trice? I think where we've been the past 3 years they renovated this past off-season and now our seats don't exist...

I don't think they took any seats out this year...

If your seats got renovated over, you get moved - at least we did last year.

Renewals aren't due until May, I think. Should be coming in the beginning of March.

I'm not sure when the mailing will go out for season ticket renewals, but I know the deadline for season ticket renewal and the deadline for Cyclone Club contributions has been pushed back to April 1 this year.

I checked the Cyclones.com website a few weeks ago and it said they will be sent out in March.

I predict this will not be a banner year for selling football tickets and donations. With the economy, and the downright pathetic product they are putting out, it should be way down.

I was actually thinking of upping my contribution. Makes for a good tax deduction.

Agreed. People are putting off a lot of purchases and I have to think donations to Iowa State have to go down this year.

Excellent...I am upping from 2 to 6 season tickets this year...better chance for me to get the seats that I want!

    Does your prediction include students?

You are probably right that with the economy tickets and giving will go down. I am also not arguing against the quality of the product lately. However, it takes money to improve the quality. We brag about how great of fans we are and support our teams, but donations don't support the greatness we claim.
I believe in 2005, (I don't have newer figures) we were 11th in donations (ahead of Baylor) although the average Baylor donator gave more. Hell, KSU fans donated $995 per person more than ISU fans did. They raised $12.1M (7200 members x $1681/member) against ISU at $3.7M (5398 members x $686/member). Pollard has been working hard to get donations to compete. Say what you want, but ISU has been doing more with less for a long time. Anything above 11th place is gravy. If you were one of the type of "fans" that want winning before they "invest" their money, you are not a fan.
