Hard to argue with 11th, but I agree with him about Brackins.

I am a little surprised to see Texas so low. He even has Nebraska ahead of Texas, which doesn't seem quite right.

Funny how he writes a little blurb about the "team" aka CB. Oklahomas blurb doesnt even mention Griffin. I guess that means CB is better.

Texas had two bad home losses to KSU and Nebraska.

So NU deserves to be ahead of them. NU also beat KSU and Mizzou.

But they had a bad loss to ISU. That could hurt them come selection time.

Texas lost to Nebbie on the road. But they lost to KSU and MU at home.

    Re: Big 12 Power rankings

Why are these called "Power Rankings"? Isn't the conference standings enough to see who has a better record. I can see if you are comparing conferences/leagues, but within 1 league what is the need for "Power Ranking". It must have been tough for King to put MU ahead of KU, this dude has been drinking the KU koolaid for years in KC

King is a KU homer. It appears he is leaning heavily on head-to-head results, especially recent ones, which is understandable. Otherwise, I can't really see putting MU ahead of KU. KU has a better team and will likely finish ahead of MU. A home win on a buzzer-beater where the opposition turned the ball over 27 times and shot 2-15 on 3-pointers doesn't really smack me as making Mizzou a better team.

I bet KU beats MU pretty easily at the Phog.

    Re: Big 12 Power rankings

Heck, if you look at the records of all the teams....we really could make a fight for 7th right now. (In 7th is A&M at 3-6) It would be nice if we could make a little run here in February.

Keep getting Boozer a little more minutes too. I like his hustle.....and at Hilton last night clapped and applauded him doing it....more-so than any other player. Get him in there!

    Re: Big 12 Power rankings

Brackins has been much more consistent lately, but he's still had too many off-nights shooting the ball. His FG% of 49.2% doesn't crack the NCAA's top 50 list.

    NCAAź Statistics

Look for Craig to make one of the all-american teams NEXT season.

His offensive efficiency stats are really low, especially for a player of his caliber. But some to, perhaps, a lot of that can be explained by the lack of offensive weapons around him.
