We are all experts on this site so we all know who it will be. Why not name himself D-coordinator? It has proven successful on the other side of the ball. The team doesn't have much to lose.

Dammit, everytime someone brings it up here, it's delayed another 3 days. It looks like we are looking at 7/15/2010 before one can be named now. Way to go.

Is that a Friday? Don't forget, it has to be announced on a Friday so that it makes the front page in the Sunday paper. At least that has been the story every week when it wasn't announced Monday through Thursday.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

Totally agree. He is not going to be able to hire someone more qualified than he is.

I would prefer Rhoads leading the D with an under the radar guy who has potential learning from him. But that's just me.

Re: Def. Coordinator before spring ball starts?

I'm available and a cheaper option since the budget is a little tight.

I am pretty good on the PS3 with College football, I usually rank in the top 2/3 in the nation in total defense. i think the fans would like my blitz'ing style, my goal is for the defense to score points - similiar to what you see with the Baltimore Ravens.

My recruiting style would be similiar to what you saw in Blue Chips. I am all about bringing in the best talent and putting W's on the board. So if you are willing to accept a coach that massages a rule or two with recruiting for Wins, I am your man.
