    Re: 2010 Scholarship Offer

So did Brandon have a favorite school growing up? "I've always liked Iowa State the most," said Scherff. "One of my friends took me to a game when I was young and I just started liking them ever since."

    Sounds like a smart kid......

    Re: 2010 Scholarship Offer

I've had to play basketball against him for 5 or 6 years now and he is a very physical post precense. I don't play football, but when my school played him he was playing qb and has a decent arm. Theres no way he can play qb at the d1 level though. I think that he would be a very good guard. As far as d line goes i don't think that he is athletic enough to play it at the d1 level.

    Re: 2010 Scholarship Offer

Also sounds like he had good friends growing up - I fell in love with the cyclones after going to a game when I was younger too..........playing football on the hillsides.....those were the days.

Hopefully he picks the good guys!

You have to remember that he weighs a good 270 and most o lineman in iowa high school football are only around 220.
