ESPN Big 12 Tim Griffin's take on ISU recruiting

    LINK

At least he had the 'Clones ranked above K-State! (Also gave kudos to CPR for keeping the majority of GC's recruits and getting it done in a short timeframe)

I dont think the class is good or bad. In my mind it's fine considering the situation Rhoads was thrown into. Plus we have a lot of returning freshman who saw the field last year.

Keeping Cyclones here is as important as bringing new ones in, hopefully Rhoads and Co. get out there early this year and get Iowa State fresh in the minds of 2010 recruits so they'll see us winning this fall and make for a lot longer recruiting time. It seems like we've been recruiting in such timespans and rushes these past seasons.

ESPN's recruiting coverage, specifically their player evaluation, is pretty awful. Getting better, I guess, but still nowhere near what rivals has.
