Tell me what is Mc's defensive style

Tell me if i'm wrong but I don't see him with a style. It's like they don't practice defensive sets. I see the style of their defense changing to adapt to the other teams offense. To me that is asking too much of your team. I think thats why after half-time nothing changes on the defensive end! He has no strategy, I went to ISU during the Eustachy/Floyd era, it seems they knew how fit players in the system. Mc wants players to fit into his system thats bring the clones down... Opinion people!

I don't care about defense anymore. why can't we just recruit ballers off of rucker park and just fast break and play nba style?

The defense isnt the problem. Only scoring in the 50s and 60s is the problem.

I like McDermotts D. He does a great job of shutting down what he wants to shut down. Our D keeps us in games...its our O that is causing us to lose.

Re: Tell me what is Mc's defensive style

His defensive style is let whoever has the hot hand on the other team keep chucking up 3 pointers and making them. No way this team should be playing man on man. We have slow white guys. We clearly need to play zone until we get some quickness.

Our defense is the only thing that is keeping us from getting embarrassed every game. Defense is not the problem at all.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Defense is the only thing remotely keeping us in games.

You mean black guys? Because if thats what you ARE saying, I gotta say its pretty offensive to have that attitude in this day...

Although his statement may be offensive in this day it's only the truth. African Americans are generally viewed as good athletes that's what we are missing right now. Isu looks a step slow on the court and I think the additions of colvin and gilstrap (both black) will make this team much more athletic.

Re: Tell me what is Mc's defensive style

Our defense is praying that the other team doesn't realize they could take us to the rim everytime, and instead shoots from outside. Hoping for a miss.

Also, I will say we have a lot of unathletic white guys. It's a fact. There are a lot of white guys who are athletic enough to play DI, but we don't have many. Colvin and Gilstrap are going to be HUGE additions next year.

I think you are dead wrong.

Tell me how many white guys there are in the NBA compared to black guys, then tell me the ratio in our population, and if that totally aligns then I'll be offended.
