    Super Bowl food

So we have had the chip dip thread. Amazing by the way. I am hoping to expand on that. I am looking for Super Bowl get together food reccomendations in general. The standard pizza and beer are great, but I'd like to be a little more creative. So what do you usually do and what are your specialties? Bonus points for being simple, I consider myself lazy.

And if your like me the Super Bowl is just as much reason to go crazy as Thanksgiving.

I bought a nice ISU serving plate and just buy blocks of chees (get them cut up) and club crackers. Pop. Chips and dip.

When does the game start again?

I'm trying to make a big supper or snack fest.

Sloppy Joes. My wife has the best recipe in the world and it has been past down from a couple generations in her family. I'll see tonight if I can prod her for the recipe. Its all in her head right now.

    That seems more right.

Would like to make some nacho cheese with meat dip...god only knows how that little experiment will go. Will try to make little smokies, and have some meat and crackers, and most definitely pizza!

    Hey IcSyU,
don't know if you had a recipe for you cheese and meat dip, but I've found that mixing some hamburger with melted velveeta and then adding some tabasco sauce is a really easy way to get that kind of dip.
