Whats Chizik got up his sleeve

Auburn is currently in the running for the top 2 football prospects in the nation.

Rivals.com - National Notebook: Down to the wire

I hope the #1 guy sticks with my Hurricanes and it would be nice to see the #4 guy switch from Missouri to Miami.

Maybe they haven't met Gene yet.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.

Re: Whats Chizik got up his sleeve

He promises them immediate playing time whether or not it is in their best interest.

He promises them he will never leave them

He promises him that he won't come down to their level and that he expects perfection

Personally I am shocked he is going after the top RB in the country who has long been committed to Miami. I mean a man's word is a man's word to Gene Chizik and once you commit somewhere you should honor that commitment

a bunch of lies. he has those up both sleeves, in all pockets (and he is wearing cargo pants), some under his hat, stuffed in his shoes and he has a spare suitcase full of lies in the car at all times.

    well, tradition.

and honestly, prior this whole deal i would have loved to play for chizik. he comes off as a man of high character and i still think he is. what he did was wrong, but i am not the lord and savior jesus ******, and i have done things the wrong way too. I guaruntee he feels bad about how it all went down. it doesnt make it right, but i just have a hard time knocking a guy for taking a dream job that im sure his wife all but made him take.

    Gus Malzahn

Lots of good QBs would love to play in Malzahn's system, no matter how much of a tool the head coach is.

I think Herman's offense will have the same effect for us, with the added bonus of having a head coach that players can trust.

Neither of these players are QB's, but the point is still valid.

Gene has put together a great class and coaching staff IMO.

Ahh, I should've read the linked info.
I assumed it might've been about Tyrik Rollison, the #2 dual threat QB that committed to them last night.

But I'll stick to my Malzahn answer anyway, as long as any offensive players are involved.

Well didn't Miami just get a new OF Coordinator?? I hope they do not commit and go elsewhere just my feelings. I think his staff is going to make or break him so there ya go.

Re: Whats Chizik got up his sleeve

the only reason chizik may succeed at auburn is gus malzahn.if chizzledick had to coach a team by himself,he would fall flat on his face.they have got a verbal from a pretty decent qb from north texas in tyrik rollison.the only reason for this verbal is malzahn. all of the other verbals that chizzledick has got from texas fall back on malzahn's recruiting-their score for accepting recruits on an act test is 17which is substandard for what most schools will allow for acceptance of a recruit. hence they are able to pick up some decent athletes that would not be able to get into good academic institutions like ISU,rice, baylor,a and m,etc. the qb that they verballed is marginal on his grades and has not met his ACT requirements. so maybe chizzledick's hot quarterback
candidate may have to go the juco route. as i say without the help and recruiting ability of gus malzahn, chizzledick would be in way over his head.

WHO CARES ABOUT GENE EFFIN CHIZIK?

He no longer coaches here. He screwed everyone on the way out the door, so I would rather not have to hear about him. I hope he flies over his handlebars and knocks his 2 front teeth out!

I agree. What Auburn's coach does is of no interest to me or to Iowa State University.

Re: Whats Chizik got up his sleeve

He shouldn't even talk to these players. Afterall, when a player who has verbally committed to him decided to talk to another school, he drops them like a fly....hypocrit?
