I know. I barely could muster any interest in them this year and I'm afraid it's gonna be like this at least for a couple more years. I've been a Chiefs fan as well and though the end result is about the same, they've been a little more entertaining to watch (mostly due to Johnson being on my fantasy football team).
I don't watch any professional sports whatsoever, but when I turned on my TV ten minutes ago, the Vikings game was on. I watched them run one play, as the QB takes the snap, takes two steps back, and then fumbles for absolutely no reason. That was hilarious- the ball was then chased down by a bunch of linemen and kept getting kicked and popped and rolled nearly to the sideline before the Vikings finally got it back after a 13-yard loss.
Like I said, I'm no team's fan, but if that's representative of their play this year, you have my deepest condolences.
True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Victory before honor.
For years, my rallying cry as a Vikings fan has been "just wait until next year". I just wonder when that "next year" is going to get here! I thought about dumping the Vikings for another team, but then I'd have to get rid of my Helga Helmet. And I love my Helga Helmet!
Hopefully a couple things happen in the off season. Ziggi forces Childress to hire a real OC. They draft the WR from GT and pick up a DE, DB and OT that can make an impact. And the Hawkeye drafted #1 earns his money.
