    Away from the meltdown threads.

Although tonights loss is disappointing ( I wasn't able to watch mos of it due to work), I'll still be supporting the team, and Coach Mac. I guess I'll probably be the only one who does support Mac. But we should realize where we would be at if we still had Taylor, Dodie, MacCintosh, and wesley among others. I don't know if people have become dimwitted with there expectations with this team or what? But it certainly seems everyone is asking this team to be doing what our teams from the early 2000's were doing. Simply we aren't that talented at this point, and it's always going to be tough to watch a struggling and inexperienced team. Par a few players. The roads going to be tough, but I still think there can be a bright future. But certain issues need to be addressed with the players and our offense. I have full faith in Mac that he will be making some changes. I'm just sick of reading meltdown threads b****ing about how bad we are playing, what'd you expect us to be like Duke? Having real expectations is a start, and don't throw players under the bus after a few bad games. It's sickening to read some of the posts, most certainly sounds like the village idiots east of here. End of Rant.

P.s. It may be tough, but this is certainly time for you to show how good and loyal of a fan you are. Go out and keep supporting them. I will be. Go Cyclones!

It hasn't "sunk in" for you yet just how bad things are. There should be meltdowns after games like tonight. It's good people still care.

Exactly. Most of the meltdown stuff tonight is accurate and rational. A few lunatics - but generally - tonight was yet another very, very poor loss for this team/program.

Expectations? Are you honestly going to tell me that ISU should not expect to beat the likes of Drake and SDSU at Hilton? Are you honestly going to say that losses to Hawaii and CU are ok by you?

As for the attrition excuse. Doesn't coach bear any responsibility for player turnover?

We dont need to be Duke. Just a team that can beat a few BCS type schools.

Re: Away from the meltdown threads.

The biggest problem tonight on CF is not meltdowns or negative fans - it's people that think their idea/point is the most important and needs it's own damn thread.

I don't think anyone is going to stop supporting the team, at least I would hope not. All we want to see is improvement and we aren't seeing any right now.

No one is ripping you. You made a post basically telling people to shut up and put up with it again. Sorry, but the mulligans are running out quickly.

Real expectations? Beating a horrible CU team that hasn't won a game in the big twelve yet, and since beating us last year...If that is not real expectations I don't know what is...

I think people have a reason to throw anyone they want under the bus if they are not playing the way they should be playing...maybe they aren't right for this system!?!? Maybe on MVC teams are right for this system!?

I don't recall ever saying shut up. I was actually intending this to be a thread where people who weren't melting down to discuss, but thanks.

No offense... but if it is a seperate topic or idea... why do we have to place it in ONE thread that implodes.

Nobody forces anyone to read any threads.
