At 6'4" and 205 lbs, he might be better suited at WR. That's a pretty big body to just kick the ball.

Who's going to make the obvious joke about how much more he'll see the field at ISU than other BCS schools?

I don't see us punting a lot under Herman. Now the opposing teams FG kicker, unless we improve our D, has a chance to get a lot of trys.

Actually, I think that if our D doesn't improve, the other team won't be needing their placekicker to attempt many FGS.

Considering that Brandtner might have really deserved the 2008 team MVP award, it might not be a joke.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

He must be pretty good to already have offers

If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team.
