    Re: Starting lineup next season

just because of this one game, it does not mean that CB is gone. im pretty positive that CB will be back next year, and that he will improve at the same rate he has been on, leave after his junior year and be a lottery pick

    Re: Starting lineup next season

We need 5 shooters on the floor. I do not see them on the first team. So who will rebound if CB disappears?

I just don't see how a PF who shoots 48% from the floor is going to be a first round pick in the NBA. He needs another year to get that up to around 56%.

    Re: Starting lineup next season

This is sooooo stupid. Because of one game all of a sudden Brackins is gone? Yeah, because no good players would come back and play if they could go from (Griffin, Collins, Hansborough, list goes on and on). COULD he go? Yeah, just like Stinson and Blalock went. How did that turn out?

I think he will look at the situation as a whole and say "If I leave, I basically leave my team out to dry and put another nail in McD's coffin or I could come back and actually do something in college and inprove my stock significantly." Will he think about it? Yep. Will he leave? I would say it is more in his favor to say no but everyone on this board has already said goodbye and signed McD's walking papers. Ridiculous...

So he already said he was going to leave? When? I think there would've been more hoopla if he said this...

I'm pretty sure CB will not be in an ISU uniform next year. There are about 2.5 million reasons not to come back to Ames.

He will not leave, imo, it would be the worst mistake he will make. He needs to put on 20 more lbs, I doubt he would get drafted unless he killed at the pre-draft camp...

What is Europe, because he will not get drafted, plus getting drafted does not guarantee 2.5, or even that big of a pay day.

I think he will get drafted if he declares but he will be in the 45th range. If he stays he cements a first round pick and if he comes back for his senior year I think he cements a lottery pick. I think his stock rises every year he stays because he will gain notoriety and he only gets better (so far at least).

I think you are right as far as skill, but if he stays all 4 years, won't he be about 24 or so when he gets drafted? That is pretty old in today's game.

    EDIT: 23 1/2.
