    Slipknot Question?

Anyone been to one of their shows?

I have been asked to help with security for the show in omaha, and just wondered how crazy it is before I give them an answer.

I figure if they want to pay me to watch a concert it might not be that bad.

    Thanks

    Re: Slipknot Question?

I've been to at least one show on every tour in Iowa since their first album was released. This bill has the potential to get crazy on the floor, but it won't be anywhere as crazy as it was when they played with Slayer.

    Re: Slipknot Question?

They playing at Wells Fargo? One thing I can tell you about the metal (nu-metal) bands is that the smaller the venue, the crazier the crowd gets. If they are playing at “The Well” then it shouldn’t get too crazy.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

    Re: Slipknot Question?

It will get crazy i saw them at ozzfest and its intense but if you working behind the baracade youll be ok wells has got nice equipment. I did security at lazerfest for Hatebreed behind a rinky-dink baracade the crowd was so crazy biggest pit i've seen in my life you almost feared for your safety its a blast though go do it.

Secondary question: Who else is making it out to the show at the Well this week? I'm ready to tear it up in the pit.
