    Coach Jay Rodgers

    Former ISU Wide Receiver coach...

I was just watching te NFL Network and I saw on the ticker that the Denver Broncos hired a coach named Jay Rodgers. I'm not that good and digging things up quickly on the internet, can someone honestly let me know if this is the same guy?

I hope with all my heart it is! He was very instrumental in recruiting my brother. We had a lot of good conversations about football, and academics as well. The last time I talked to him he was very sad about not knowing what was next for him and his family. I pray that this is the same guy!!!

Thanks, and I apologize that this thread isn't about the Cyclones.

Great opportunity for him. I will definitely miss him after seeing how Sumrall exploded last year and how the younger guys were starting to show some of their talent at the end of the year.

Hopefully Rhoads/Herman can find someone just as talented.

    Re: Coach Jay Rodgers

I think he's the guy you are talking about. Wide Receiver coach here the last two years. Glad to hear he got a pretty good gig.

    Re: Coach Jay Rodgers

Nice! The broncos are my team too, so technically Jay is still in one of my families! :) Good to hear and good luck Jay! Hopefully McDaniels and the crew can turn things around in the mile-high city. I like what I've seen regarding the new staff so far.

    Re: Coach Jay Rodgers

I've heard from numerous players that no one liked Jay... seemed like a good guy when I was around him, but apparently didn't connect with the players. I'm guessing that's why Rhoads didn't keep him around.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?
