    Strength Coach

    The head strength coach that works with Men's and Women's basketball team has been working with the football team this week. Hopefully he gets the head football job.

    Moser??? Isn't he the olympic sports strength coach which is everything except football?

    Different types of workouts and different types of outcome expected...obviously football players don't do a basketball player workout and a basketball player doesn't do a OL or DL workout.

    Which is another reason I hope he doesn't get the job. I want a football-specific S&C. I'm sure the guy doing basketball is fine, but that's probably his area of expertise.

    He played football for ISU, worked and learned under a really good strength coach for football at ISU, has been working in the strength and conditioning for the past 10 years......and he is not "football-specific S&C"??? That makes absolutely no sense...

    Moser played football here for a fact ..and I'm pretty sure he helped out with the football team a years back, but I'm not sure on that one so I would say he has a pretty good wealth of knowledge about aspects of football S&C

    There are still the basic compound movements everyone does to gain strength and muscle: different presses, squats, rows, cleans, extensions, etc. I agree with Drive4cy, not impressed at all with his work with the mens bball team.
