    Marquette board on ISU

hey, don't ask me why I was visiting Marquette's Hoops forum, but they have a discussion going on over there about Iowa State. Thought you would all enjoy taking a peek

    Scout.com: Iowa State Board

Seems to be more of a Ames vs. Milwaukee discussion, but whatever.

    Re: Marquette board on ISU

This should be a fun thread. I expect much nonsensical bashing of Marquette, a far better hoops program than we have.

About the only thing I read in that thread that amused me was...

Big 12 vs. Big East. Advantage MU.

The day I start to care about what Marquette fans think about Iowa State, please just put me ten foot under.

    Re: Marquette board on ISU

So after reading this I see another team is going after Colvin. Is he a solid verbal or is he still looking around. I've heard of a few schools still thinking he may still be interested (such as Bradley). Also, when can he sign a LOI?

    Re: Marquette board on ISU

Interesting city debate... I chose ISU over Marquette for my college decision. I got sick of the bums on the corner asking me for money and a professor or TA had recently been found dead in an alley a block away from campus. The tour guide confirmed it but said, "It isn't that big of a deal as long as you always walk with somebody at night."

One more thing: No football program at all, that definitely factored into my decision. Some of my best ISU memories are of tailgating.

I have to say, I have no beef with Marquette. I actually cheer them on when they play. Battling out for recruits against them sucks, but if we win the committ its that much sweeter. Good program.

    Re: Marquette board on ISU

My brother went on a campus visit to Marquette with my mom. The tour guide said something like, "There hasn't been a murder actually on campus in six years and we're pretty proud of that" when talking about their security services and safety. That wasn't exactly a selling point... especially when you consider the murders NEAR campus.

have you ever got caught outside In a strong rainfall? Yes or NO. If it"s yes, then you might half felt the pane of hard(tought) rain on you head. If it hurt"s then it"s tough. Yes or no. Okay I'm right and you know it.

So alothough you attempt"ed to say you didn"t understnad, now you do. Fair enough?

The Big East > Big 12 in basketball this year. Not much argument.
