    Vizio HDTV

Does anybody have any experience with these and if so what do you think?

I'm looking at getting at a 26 inch for my bedroom. We'll only use it occasionally.

Consumer reports has a Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung as their top choices. I noticed however that the Vizio is rated pretty well in the larger size categories.

Can't beat the price. It's about $150 less then the three I listed above.

    Thoughts?

I got one for XMAS but it was a 42 inch.

The only thing that I can say is......

    It's amazing

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I would get the Vizio for a 26". I'd get a different model if it was 42+.

I've got both a 42 inch Vizio and a 26 inch Vizio. I think this is the best HDTV for the buck by far.

I have a 47" Samsung and a 47" Vizio. The Samsung has a better picture, but it's close.

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I was in CostCo last Thursday and they had 32" Vizio's for $389. That's a heck of a good deal I think. Also have heard a lot of good stuff about Vizio.

    Re: Vizio HDTV

Just got back from watching the ravens game on my little brother's vizio HD, and MAN was I impressed. (of course I've been watching football on a 30", 30 year old tube TV this whole year so far, so I may not be the best at comparisions.)

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I have a 32' Vizio, my bro has a 42' Vizio and my parents have two 42' Vizios and two 26' Vizios. We are all extremely impressed with these televisions. For the money, I think they are the best deal out there.

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I stay in a hotel in the quad cities that uses 26" Vizios in their rooms...it looks great and for the money I would think well worth it. I have used a gaming system on them a few times as well and really haven't given me any reason to bad mouth them.

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I have a 42" and we were watching the Ravens game on it on DTV (not HD) I use OTA for that, and my family was asking me how much my HD DVR cost me, evidently it looked HD. I love mine.

There are different versions of the 42", I have the LCD Gallevia one

    Re: Vizio HDTV

I have a small Vizio downstairs hanging in front of my treadmill. It works alright for that purpose but it has one dead pixel and I owuldn't call it outstanding.

BTW-I've been looking to get a 46 or 50" and I'm starting to lean towards a plasma instead of an LCD. After looking at a bunch of different models I think I like the picture better and the black level of the plasma's seem to be much better overall. I have a LCD 1080p projector that I love so I'm not anti LCD just telling you what I've seen. From what I've seen, only if you have no light control at all, plasma is the way to go. Oh and they are energy hogs.

    Re: Vizio HDTV

Vizio is a great set for the money. You need to go 32" though. 26 is all well and good but 32 looks a lot bigger when you actually bring it home.
