    Dear: Greg

Dear Greg I think it is hilarious that Iowa State still employees you as their head mens basketball coach. So far you have done nothing to make us true ISU fans excited about Basketball and what lies in the future for our program. You have single handedly destroyed Hilton magic in the 3 years that you have been here, you havent beaten anybody that you were not suppose to, and you a coach a boring brand of basketball. Ive got to give you some credit though, when it it comes to consistency you score an A+, you never make any half time adjustments, you never have your team ready to play, for some reason you decide to let every team shoot threes instead of twos which doesnt make any sense to me, and you consistently draw very small pathetic crowds to Hilton. Jamie Pollard made a huge mistake in hiring you and letting Wayne Morgan go. Wayne didnt get half the chance you did but he still came out with a winning record and lead his team to the NCAA tourny.

This might belong in the thread entitled " Ways to annoy people"
I will say this, the board today has been brutal. I am all for people expressing their opinion, but some of the threads today border on.......................

Im just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard, Eustachy joked. If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, hell be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.

First sentence did make me laugh. I can't imagine why some people post the things they do. You have to know it won't go over well.

    Re: Dear: Greg

he's a coach that runs a clean program. If he can win, he's the best type of coach we could ever hope for - one that would stay here for a long time. Anyone that knows him (that I've spoken to) respect him. These types of coaches deserve a good chance to prove themselves because of the potential reward if they succeed. I don't know if he can do it, but he has shown that he can spot talent and he has done better in the past (leading me to think that we haven't seen his best yet at ISU).

    Patients.

    Re: Dear: Greg

Thank God I opened this thread. It has taught me many valuable things, the biggest being that I learned I'm not a TRUE ISU fan because I don't think McDermott should be fired.

By the way, about the "boring brand of basketball", correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a pretty good coach named Floyd had the same type of philosophy.

Nothing to look forward in the future? Give me a break.

Maybe you didn't hear, but we actually have some great recruits coming in.
