Finally, a no school day for ISU.

And don't get me wrong, it's an important day to remember a great man. But seriously, ISU doesn't have class for this day, but has class for other (and more important, IMO) holiday's like Veteran's Day?

That is supposed to be the high but the frigid temps and breezy wind arent gonna be outta here til the afternoon. And that temperature is not factoring the wind chill. Its gonna be colder then ya think.

You're not kidding. The year I went we had a no school day due to Sept 11 (9/11), or it might have been I just didn't go; and then only had a half day due to heavy snow one evening. Otherwise, game on for everything else. Forget that tornado that's coming through!!!

Iowa City sent 10 busses out today for a test run. 5 of them stopped in route because of the diesel gelling up. 5/10 is not good.

I'm guessing the school districts "forgot" to put in an additive like "heet" to prevent something like that from happening. Hmm. How does CyRide do it!?!?!?

I haven't been able to experience the joy of a "snow" or "cold" day for almost 10 years. I'd love to have that wonderful feeling just ONE more time. Lucky kids
