    Looking Ahead

I know its one game at a time...but how big are the games on the 1/24 vs. Kansas & 1/31 vs. OU. These games could really put this program on the map again in the Big XII. Could we see a little Hilton Magic?

    Those are big games.
IMO every big12 game is a big game, especially for a young team

exactly. This weekends is just as big. Every conference win puts us on the map.

I think OU will destroy this team. They have a chance against Kansas, but I think it's around 25% at best. I like this team a lot, but they are not ready to play with the big dogs yet.

I have a feeling OU is going to crush everyone they play in the Big XII. ****, I think they have a legit shot at NC this year.

No kidding their guard play is not nearly good enough.

    Re: Looking Ahead

The Mizzou game is more important than the KU and OU games IMO. I want to beat those teams as much as anyone, but if we can win at Mizzou on their court, that would be a huge win for this team. There will be no shame in losing that game, so long as we play well, but a win would mean a lot to this very young team.

After we won...I was really glad Nebraska threw the press at us...that's what we are going to see on Saturday against Missouri. Make it our game and this is very winnable.

    Re: Looking Ahead

KU is very beatable. They are very young and inexperienced and really struggle away from home. OU's guards are not that good. Every team in the Big 12 will struggle away from home, it's just not a very good conference this year. It could be one of those years where nobody gets past the Sweet 16.

    Re: Looking Ahead

i think that the big games are the ones @ Missouri, @ Colorado etc. the road games against very beatable teams because those are the games we need to win if we want to have a good seed in the Big 12 or go to the NIT because it always seems to me like we can beat these guys at home but we go on the road and have no chance and we end up with 4 conference wins against those teams. think if we win the games on the road against colorado nebraska missouri Kansas State theres 4 wins right there plus them at home and we have 8 wins already. thats why i think those are the key games. then u pull a couple upsets or some roads games down south and ur lookin at 10 conference wins
