SC and DC, how long will it take?

It seems like hiring these two guys is taking forever. I am starting to wonder if the PR has offered several guys and been turned down.

Re: SC and DC, how long will it take?

My guess is that PR is 100% focused on recruiting. There are just a few weeks until signing day. For every day he burns interviewing and talking to DC candidates he burns a day of recruiting. This late in the game a DC is not going to impact recruiting more than PR spending time on the phone, in living rooms, etc.

After signing day he will have plenty of time to take care of that.

A DC is too important of a position to slam in between recruiting visits. I'd not read anything more than that into the delay. At this point... it's a race to the signing day finish line... NO detractions from that... No time for that.

Sounds very plausible to me. He'll get the guys hired sooner or later.

Looking like he might be a pro coach - I find it hard to believe we are waiting on a college coach unless we were turned down at some point. When is signing day?

Re: SC and DC, how long will it take?

He HAD to have a short list of people that he wanted to come in and coach the defense. Unless we are bringing in someone from the pros, this delay does not seem to make to much sense.

PR is checking CF everyday and the day that no one starts a thread asking that questions he will announce it.
