Talk about a prize job for a coach to get. Coaches are going to be clawing for that job.

    Isn't it obvious?

Tony Dungy is coming to be Defensive Coordinator at Iowa State

Agree...but it appears they named Jim Caldwell as the next coach some time ago?

    Re: Dungy steps down

They are built to do well for the next couple of years but we can see where they will be in 3-5 years. Peyton will be done, Harrison and Wayne are not the same guys. Caldwell will be fine but I think Tony is getting out before they have to revamp the roster.

    Re: Dungy steps down

He almost quit a year ago. Tony has said he doesn't have any more to prove and that he wants to "smell the roses". He's made good money.

He lost a son a few years ago and that has impact on a person. I see him doing some community service work.

I have a lot of respect for this guy.

    Re: Dungy steps down

Mike Shanahan will get this job, and win 2 more Super Bowls, spanking the Broncos & Pats several times in the process.

Start the KF to Colts thread.

Just kidding, didn't they already have his replacement named?

Kirk Ferentz to Indy? Kirk Ferentz to Cleveland? Every rumor he starts gets him more money.

Dont forget about the KF to KC if the chiefs hire Pioli as the new GM
