Biggest non-conference road win for ISU

Sorry, too lazy to do the poll thing, plus I don't know how. My pick is the late 1987 win at #2/3 Purdue that helped launch ISU into the top 10. Is there a greater non-conference road win?

That Purdue game wasn't even on TV back then. It was a first-round of the NIT tournament, i believe.

I'd vote for @KU in 2000...the game that really pushed us over the edge in the Big 12. And Jamaal Tinsley's immortal line about Allen Fieldhouse: "It's just another gym." We should make t-shirts with that.

Non-conference games is what he is looking for, so Kansas wouldn't be in that picture. I have only been a Clone since 02 so I would say Virginia game that was nationally televised.

Virginia game was a home game not a road game.

Too bad that team didn't parlay the early season success into a special season.

Wasn't that the Lafester team that beat a pretty good Iowa team after the Preseason NIT and then went on a 6 or 7 game losing steak during the conference and limped into the NCAA tourney for a one and done?

Ah, I looked right past the "road" part and just saw "Biggest non-conference win". My bad...
